One year later he went on to a significant role as part of the Design Build team involved in the construction of a Geothermal Power Plant located in East Mesa, California.
A few months later after the completion of these plants, he was approached by the Imperial County Planning and Building Department to inspect various types of geothermal, and biomass power plants and their power systems.
While serving with Imperial County, Mr. Baiz learned the intricacies and processes of permitting major land entitlements. He used this experience to design and build 1200 homes in 3 subdivisions including all Sewer, Water, and Electrical systems in his hometown of Calexico, California.
Mr. Baiz then chose to locate in beautiful San Diego, California. He successfully led projects as a Developer of high end Custom Homes ranging from $5m to $20m in diverse regions of the world.
This accomplishment inspired Mr. Baiz to develop 5 Star time share Resorts while partnering with land owners in Mexico, Costa Rica, the Philippines, and Croatia.
For the last 12 years Mr. Baiz has been designing and partnering with property owners in southern California along Interstate 15 for the Design Build of an 81 mile Duo Rail called The Phoenix.
As Executive Developer of Real Estate Development for CivTek Corporation, Mr. Baiz designs and implements a variety of "Green" technologies into all of CivTek's projects to reduce their carbon footprint and increase energy efficiency.
As Civtek's Executive Director of Real Estate Development, Mr. Baiz brings an array of expertise in the several fields of development. His knowledge of complex and intricate facets of the development process include important aspects from financing, land acquisition, design, entitlements, to construction which gives him unique perception to ensure that all these complicated disciplines are aligned, integrated, and harmonious with each other.
